Removable adhesive is designed for clean peeling within approximately 6 months. Beyond that, adhesive gradually sets, increasing peel resistance and potentially leaving residue.
Surface Type Affects Removal
Glass and metal offer the cleanest removal. Rigid plastics (PET, PC) are excellent. Soft or low-surface-energy plastics (PE, PP) may retain adhesive residue. Always test.
Temperature at Removal Matters
Removal is easiest at room temperature. Cold makes adhesive brittle; heat makes it string. Best practice: remove labels at 15-25°C (59-77°F) for clean peel.
Not a Repositionable Label
